Grazing at Kingsdale head in 2022 and 2023
Following another year of grazing at Kingsdale Head we have analysed the GPS data collected by the Nofence collars over the year and produced another edition of the analyses in the attatched report.
Importantly the analysis continues to support the assumptions made in designing the grazing plan at Kingsdale Head. Cattle preferentially graze more palitable grass dominated areas of the site largely avoiding more sensitive blanket bog. We continue to monitor change on site and this information acts as a good basleine for us to understand how the vegetation changes on site over time and the behaviour of the cattle and the impact of their grazing might change over time.
